The New YAML Config File

If you look at the page links on the left, you’ll see a link to the YAML Config page. YAML (rhymes with camel) is cool markup language that is way more streamlined than XML and just as powerful - as far as I can tell. The YAML config file allows you to create your own ranking tool using the SEO Standard, which accounts for the overall SEO effectiveness across all search engines. See the YAML SEO Standard config page for more info. The YAML file is not being currently used and will be updated with the regex expression that I’m using in the Python version of the SEO Standard Ranking Tool.

The SEO Rank Calculator has been updated with the latest U.S. Search engine data. The tool will be updated every time Neilsen’s Netratings come out for the previous month (approximately the 20th of the month). Currently this is the only place where the SEO rank standard calculator is running.
